An unidentified individual will claim a special lottery prize, according to the New York Lottery.
A $2 million Powerball ticket was purchased in New York for the Nov. 22 drawing.
The winning numbers were 20 24 33 39 42 and Powerplay 21. The ticket was purchased at Lindy's Card and Gift Inc. located at 20 Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.
The win is unusual because, in order to double the typical million dollar second place prize, one must match the "Powerplay" number.
Four other second prize tickets were sold for the drawing, each worth $1 million, in California, Florida, North Carolina and Oregon.
The $2 million winner's identity has not yet been revealed by the New York Lottery.
The Nov. 22 jackpot was worth $316 million, but nobody hit the top prize, and it currently stands at $352 million. The next drawing is Monday, Nov. 27.
